Our Story
(don't worry, this is the short version)

Just as most doctors choose a specialty, we at The Compounding Shoppe chose to specialize in compounding, or the custom-making of medicines. 

When we opened our doors in 1995, we became the first compounding-only pharmacy in the country to open from "scratch". 

Our specialty practice is comprised of a state-of-the-art compounding laboratory utilizilizing the latest equipment, techniques and information.  We like to describe ourselves as a "modern pharmacy practicing the ancient art of the apothecary".

From sterile injectables and transdermal pain gels to bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, The Compounding Shoppe has earned a reputation as one of the nation's top compounding pharmacies.  In fact, with our commitment to quality and excellence, The Compounding Shoppe has few peers.

Over the years, the ability to compound, or custom-make medications to meet the exact needs of each patient has allowed us to help solve many challenging health problems.

However, we began to be challenged with problems such as chronic fatigue syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome and fibromyalgia that we could not solve with prescription medicines, even when they were customized for the patient. 

To meet these needs, we now take an integrated approach to solving problems by incorporating modern Western medicine with traditional herbal, whole-food nutritional and homeopathic therapies to help solve people's health problems.
